Stage 4 Lockdown Update

Victorian Dental Restrictions Update
The Australian Dental Association has recommended we move to level 3 dental restrictions as of the 7th of August. This means we will be deferring all non urgent treatment such as regular check-ups and cleans until restrictions are lifted. Dr Peter and Dr Richard therefore will be seeing patients for urgent treatment only and we will be opening only 2-3 days per week.
What does this mean for you?
If you are in pain and require treatment please do not hesitate to call us on 9347 3003. We are available for all emergencies and are committed to ensuring our patients receive urgent attention. We are also able to continue treatment for patients undergoing root canal treatment, urgent fillings and crown work. If you have an appointment booked and are unsure if treatment will be possible, please call 9347 3003 to discuss with our friendly team.
If you have a routine check-up and clean booked for the next couple of weeks we will be in touch to postpone these appointments to a later date.
Reduced Opening Hours
As we will be opening for emergencies only, our opening hours over the coming weeks will be variable. We will be opening 2-3 days depending on demand. If you call the practice please leave a detailed message with your name and number. We will be monitoring calls remotely and will call you back as soon as possible. Alternatively you may email info@aspireonedental.com.au which will also be checked regularly.
Stopping The Spread
Aspire One Dental continues to work closely with the governing bodies and has sourced the required personal protective equipment needed to protect our team. As we prioritise the health and safety of our team and patients, we have gone above and beyond the required measures by ensuring the provision of surgical hair covers, face shields and high-grade surgical masks should they be required during your visit.
We are required to use a rubber dam for all fillings, endodontic work and crown work to limit aerosol contamination. You’ll also notice a heightened use of protective wear from our staff and protocols such as social distancing and the installation of sneeze guards at reception. Patients will also be received one at a time in the waiting room to allow a thorough clean of all touch points with hospital grade disinfectant. We ask that patients do not remove masks until seated in the dental chair.
As always we follow the highest standard of infection control measures using hospital grade sterilisation and disinfection to protect you and our team. We have also introduced extra measures to reduce the possibility of viral transmission including pre-treatment screening, provision of hand sanitiser, and a move to accepting cashless transactions only.
We hope this post finds you safe and well, and we hope to see you again soon when restrictions are lifted.
Best wishes,
Dr Peter Nguyen and the Aspire One Dental Team.
